The Children’s Advocacy Center provides a variety of special events that engage nearby communities. This month, The Center sponsored their annual Holiday Project that provided Christmas gifts for children and families in their care. Donations from Launch’s employees, friends, and partners allowed us to adopt 31 children and 1 family of our own. Launch Agency would like to thank Western Rim Property Services, Alphagraphics of Carrolton, XL Digital, and Charlie Uniform Tango for their generous contributions.
Last year, the CAC of Collin County served over 200 children through the Adopt-A-Child program, 16 families through the Adopt-A-Family Program, and 1,100 children with the Toy Store program. In total, the Center was able to serve over 1,300 children with 198 community volunteers and 790 donated volunteer hours.
Year round, the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County provides safety, healing, and justice for children victimized by abuse. The Center houses dedicated professionals and community partners including law enforcement officers, child protective services, therapists, caseworkers, interns, nurses, and volunteers. These entities work collaboratively within the CAC, along with the District Attorney’s office, to provide all the resources needed to care for families and children in Collin County.
